The journey of Cohaa began in Secunderabad with a modest store named Veni. What started as a small kitchen within a patisserie evolved into a haven for handloom enthusiasts, offering a curated selection of weaves from different regions of India.

We explored weaving hubs in various parts of the country, from the enchanting landscapes of Srinagar to the quaint town of Mhow, now known as Dr. Ambedkar Nagar. Situated on the banks of the Narmada River, Maheshwar captivated us with its timeless charm and rich weaving heritage, serving as the primary inspiration for Cohaa's inception.

Specializing primarily in Maheshwari weaves, we embark on a journey of experimentation with threads, colors, and textures.
Our design process is meticulous, beginning with conceptualizing collections and themes, followed by the careful selection of colors, dyeing the yarn, setting the warp and weft, blending colors, creating motifs, and producing smaller samples before reaching the final product.

Founded in October 2023, Cohaa is an India-based design label dedicated to offering affordable yet distinctive creations that reflect the beauty and diversity of Indian handlooms.
